See also here and here for tonight's sponsor of my bewildered head-shaking, the Menifee Union school district in southern California, where they have just pulled the Merriam Webster's dictionary from classrooms because it contains a definition for "oral sex."

*shakes head* And dammit, that needs to be in there. That brings back a memory. During the Monica Lewinsky scandal, I actually used the dictionary to look up "oral sex" because I kept hearing the phrase on the news and I had no idea what it meant. (Although I think they defined it really oddly and I ended up being confused anyway. Something about eating food in an erotic manner? That's what the dictionary said!)

Also:I saw Rocky Horror on TV the first time when I was twelve. During a commercial break, I looked up "transvestite" and "transsexual" in the dictionary.
